Heartbeat at my feet

I tend to sway towards seeking out adventures with my dog on a weekly basis. We regularly go out into public and meet new people. One of her favorite places is Goodwill. Can you imagine the scents she picks up from all the donated items? It’s very fulfilling for her to walk along side me and sniff the lower racks and clothing as we move through the aisles. I trust her to greet children and older people appropriately. She brings smiles to their faces and gently approaches them. We enjoy hikes and always incorporate agility into nature to break up the hike. Hay bales, tree trunks, giant granite rocks and streams where we have to step across to avoid the water. I taught her a wait and down command so after she crosses the stream she can lay down and wait for me while i figure out my footing avoiding getting my boots wet. Always such an adventure! Our dogs lives are quite short in retrospect so filling their cups with enrichment and everyday adventures makes me so happy.
