Ding Ding here comes the circus

pittsfield ma, berkshires, massachusetts, dogs, rescue dogs, dog tricks

Why a circus theme for my class you may ask? I have ever since I could remember I always challenged by dogs by setting up obstacles for them. I love seeing them solve problems and utilize their natural ability to figure out what I’m asking of them. I have a great deal of patience and make a wonderful teacher for this type of class. In the past I’ve encountered some really forceful and unempathetic trainers while attending dog training classes over the years. It didn’t stop me walking out on those classes and seeking out other ways to fulfill my dogs. But instead it lit a fire under me to create a dog training class where all abilities are welcome and they will always feel supported during our time together. I bring to this class a lightness and the ability to see the tiny moments of victory and show you how to communicate with your dog. I add in many pieces of challenging equipment each week to break up the trick training time so the dogs can remain focused. I love to use vintage objects in my training and giving them a new life. I believe in sourcing materials that are already in circulation and repurposing them for training. This class is really a labor of love and my training clients are absolutely loving each weeks session. Join the cirus! You won’t regret it!
