About Emily
Emily grew up in Missouri and has always had a passion for working with all types of animals. As an adult she moved to California and joined her friend that was a well seasoned dog trainer and assisted her in walking and training dogs along the sun kissed beaches of Southern California. During that time she rescued 2 dogs of her own from a high kill shelter. She spent her days working with them both and helping them become the most amazing confident dogs they could possibly be. In 2015 she relocated with her husband and their two dogs to Massachusetts and began a formal career as a dog trainer. She has seen and worked with dogs with so many issues and has the confidence and tools to help owners unravel whats happening in the dogs mind to get to the root of the issue. She regularly attends seminars on the subject of dog training and behavior modification. Emily finds great joy in helping people and their dogs. She is a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. She would love to help your family build a relationship with your dog and get you on the right track so your dog is happy and a well adjusted member of your family.
Emily’s dog Roka was rescued from Australian Shepherds Furever in November 2019. Roka’s previous owners felt she was too high energy and left her at a local dog sitter never to return for her. She was just patiently waiting to be rescued in Oklahoma. She made the long journey to Massachusetts and to date has earned 3 trick titles with the AKC. With Beginner, Novice and Advanced Trick titles under her collar the sky is the limit in her new life.
